The Senior Director of Community is responsible for leading our and managing the company's community engagement and ambassador program. In this role, you will enhance the company's brand, drive engagement, and promote brand loyalty through our Ambassador program. The successful candidate will have a passion for building and growing communities, as well as a deep understanding of community engagement strategies and tactics. The Senior Director of Community will also partner closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Customer Experience, Finance and Operations to ensure that community initiatives align with the company's overall strategy.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Lead team in creating new initiatives, systems and processes for the Ambassador program and enhance existing ones
  • Develop and execute a community engagement strategy that aligns with the company's brand and goals
  • Identify opportunities to evolve efficiency of marketing activities and provide strategic guidance and recommendations to team leads
  • Oversee execution of product launches, campaigns and other brand initiatives with ambassadors
  • Develop and oversee a community support program to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues and inquiries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that community initiatives align with the company's overall product, marketing, and customer experience strategies
  • Develop and manage community budgets, including expenses related to community events, initiatives, and programs
  • Identify opportunities for community growth and expansion, including developing new channels and strategies to engage with customers and prospects

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing with an emphasis on community management with social media and/or influencer marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
  • Strong understanding of community engagement strategies, tactics, and best practices, including experience in managing ambassador programs, social media, and other engagement channels
  • Proven track record of driving customer engagement, loyalty, and retention through community initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyze community metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including ambassadors, customers, and partners
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive alignment around community initiatives and goals

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $129,500 and $185,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
