The Opportunity

The Social Media Content Producer at Fud will help us thoughtfully grow, cultivate and foster our community of action-oriented hustlers. You will do this by developing, producing, and distributing original thumb-stopping content on an everyday basis. Leaning into viral trends, you will be tasked with increasing social and Owned and Operated traffic with the ideation, development, editing, and execution of both long form and short form content for distribution on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and owned and operated (”O&O”) properties. You must have a love for digital culture, side hustles, social media, emerging platforms, and storytelling and a strong understanding of Gen Z and Millennial content consumption. You must also be comfortable being on camera (talking, acting, etc).

Core responsibilities:

  • Create and edit thumb-stopping original content for TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and O&O properties, identifying relevant trends and adapting them to fit brand voice and audience
  • Source, schedule and engage with viral content from TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube creators
  • Reference the brand guidelines and requirements when sourcing and creating content, ensuring posts are consistent with the brand voice, style and tone.
  • Responsible for meeting weekly growth goals to help build an audience in alignment with larger Growth Team weekly goals
  • Provide weekly reports and insights to the team
  • Create detailed support plans for original content and tentpoles
  • Work with Community Manager to continuously grow a positive and inclusive social media presence by monitoring commentary across Fud’s socials and O&O properties


  • You are a hustler and have one or more side hustles
  • Experience building an online community or launching an app is a bonus
  • Able to design, edit, and have exceptional social media copywriting talents
  • Experience creating mobile content for the web and growing a social audience
  • A creative mindset that understands what side hustle audiences consume on social media and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze traffic and engagement metrics and use data to make creative decisions
  • Project management skills and flexible cross-collaboration within a startup environment
  • Legal right to work in the US

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Education: Preferred BA/BS or relevant work experience
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience creating video content for social media and/or content strategy for a variety of companies
  • Technologies: Plus if you have access to desktop & mobile editing software (Adobe Suite, Final Cut, Canva, etc
