Who is Greater Good Health?
Founded in March 2021, Greater Good Health provides primary care focused clinical services, led by nurse practitioners, designed specifically to support high-risk, complex populations. Across the United States, the 65+ population continues to increase rapidly, while at the same time the number of physicians focused on primary care is declining significantly. In fact, by 2030 it is expected that the shortage of PCPs will reach over 120,000. Greater Good Health was established to expand primary care access and build a new system that supports the needs of both Nurse Practitioners and patients, leading to a greater, healthier existence for everyone. Our solutions fill an important gap in today’s primary care landscape and our outcomes highlight the impact we’ve been able to make.
What are the GGH Pillars?
1. Equitable, Accessible Healthcare
GGH strives to provide exceptional, whole-person healthcare to all, but especially to those the existing healthcare system underserves the most – that means ensuring care is equitable and accessible to people from all walks of life and experiencing all manners of conditions.
2. Empowering Nurse Practitioners
Healthcare cannot become truly equitable until it serves its healthcare providers. By putting the agency and career growth of Nurse Practitioners at the center of our business, GGH can expand care to those most in need while giving NPs pathways to becoming holistic healthcare providers.
3. Community-Based Healthcare
True care never happens in a vacuum – which is why community is the glue that keeps our caregivers and care-seekers together. Through our suite of tools and social applications, both providers and patients of GGH are encouraged to connect with others to share in their healthcare journey, thus finding support, comraderies, and balance through true connectivity.
