Options MD is a Techstars company that helps people with treatment-resistant illnesses access cutting-edge medications and non-pharmaceutical treatments. Our first use-case is depression, where 30% of people diagnosed are "treatment resistant", meaning that they will not respond to conventional treatment protocols. The patients that we work with have been battling debilitating depression and suicidal thoughts for 10+ years. We use artificial intelligence to match them to innovative treatments, provide them with access to doctors who specialize in working with treatment-resistant patients, and give them emotional support through peer mentorship programs.
